1. Turn on the power for the computerized quilting machine, the monitor, and the computer. Once the manufacturer's name appears on the screen, press the "Enter" key to load the operating system.
2. To select a pattern based on the design number, press F1 to enter the pattern loading function. Use the arrow keys (←, ↑, →, ↓) to navigate and press "Enter" to confirm your selection. To view patterns numbered 110 and above, use the "Page Up" and "Page Down" keys (located above the arrow keys) to scroll. Press F1 followed by "Esc" to exit the pattern loading function.
3. To scale the pattern according to the quilt size, press F2 to enter the scaling function. First, scale the X-axis (width): use ↑ to increase the value by 1, ↓ to decrease by 1, → to increase by 10, and ← to decrease by 10. Press "Enter" to confirm the desired value. Next, the Y-axis (length) setting will appear; scale it using the same method and press "Enter" to regenerate the pattern. Press "Esc" to exit. The scaling range is 50 cm to 250 cm, and the pattern dimensions must be at least 35 cm smaller than the quilt clamping frame.
4. To adjust the stitch length, press F9 (adjustment range: 2–12 mm). Use ↑ to increase the stitch length by 0.5 mm and ↓ to decrease it by 0.5 mm; press "Enter" to confirm the setting.
5. Place the clamped quilt onto the machine's support frame. Move the sewing head to the actual starting point: position the needle 17 cm from the right outer frame plus the "left boundary" value displayed on the computer, and 17 cm from the top outer frame. Finally, thread the machine.
